Today is the due date for companies in Singapore to paper file their income tax return, Form C and Form C-S. The tax filing due date is very generous in the sense that companies have at least 11 months (for companies with 31 Dec financial year end) and up to 22 months (for companies with 31 Jan financial year end) to file their income tax return.

While other countries such as Malaysia, companies must file their income tax return within 7 months from their financial year end.

However, good news for smaller companies that qualifies to file Form C-S. The filing deadline is extended till 15 Dec 2014 if they were to e-file via IRAS’ MyTax Portal.
